Jerry Buss goes to hospital, comes out and finds his GM has traded two of the best team basketball players in the world so that he can have two of the most selfish players in the NBA. One is ageing with falling production plus an abrasive attitude who enjoys sending bench players to basketball wilderness and the new guy gets the ball first all the time and will shoot it. They’ll be coached by the guy who wiped LeBron’s arse for 5 years. Just what selfish players need, an enabler. This has to be some brilliant plan engineered by Kupchak to get Phil Jackson back to coaching right? I mean, they wouldn’t do this as an actual strategic move right?
